	This News Item has been viewed 1,900 times LOTRFiles Us at Lotrfiles are going to start our own modding competition not to include those of other less important games... We are doing it strictly for the BFME series, the modding award titles include: Best Newcomer Mod 2007 Most Anticipated Mod For The Future Most Hooked On Mod 2007 Mod of the Year 2007 BFME1 Mod of the Year 2007 BFME2 Mod of the Year 2007 Rotwk Mod of the Year 2007 These awards will be announced later in January when we have all the entries, You can look at our Mod Center to see the mods we have, over the next few weeks we will be adding new mods and be "completing" the mod center to as much of an extent we have every covered mod in the series up to this date. Those mods will then be drawn into categories and most of them nominated by you and voted for by you in the polls, there will be a judging panel where I will be one of the judges and select a few players in the community to test out some of the mods and report back on their findings. So all in all a combination of voting and judging to get the best result. To conclude the ceremony, it could either in the Lotrfiles channel on Teamspeak or on the FileFront IRC, if however the timezones are not on our side I could announce it on the site and asking other sites to post of the news so you can be informed of your winnings. This is the time to release any betas or new versions of mod you are creating! We are only going to put in mods that have been released in some way for example betas or pre betas and of coursed full released. If you want your mod in our mod center to be in with a chance of winning any of the above awards simply go to this page and add your mod to the mod center. Thank you & Merry Christmas Good Luck! If we had a lot of mods to choose from I would like this, but what is it? 3?4?
Not much of a mod competition smile

But who knows what the future brings, maybe some new mini-mods wink

I hope it receives some more support after the massive new beta, because at this time the See mod is getting all the attention, and imo its not fair to you and your mod, since its on a different platform(Rotwk) and it deserves more smile

Completely agreed, however remember I'm working on this site mostly myself with wattan doing some files here and there so it's hard for me to do everything together but I'll manage, adding about 10-15 mods just today hopefully.

Well you could put out a new application for lotrfiles, only raise the standards this time for the people who want to join the staff.

For example: that they should be online for a certain period of time to run the site otherwise they'll not be allowed.

While RJ_RotWK is not as close to completetion as SEE, more due to the nature of the mods, it's come a long way since the last update on lordoftherings.filefront.com, and even a long way since the last beta release.

And I don't mind SEE getting attention, being a part of that mod has been very enjoyable working with Chriz.

I feel I'm neglecting RJ tbh, sorry rob, I'll post all the updates from October I think that was our last update on Lotrfiles, then people the real progression of the mod and it won't be S.E.E voting all the way through.
