Battle for Middle Earth 2: ROTWK News
Hello guys,
I am the creator of the "300" maps if you've ever encounter them and i wanna announce that i am about to release a new map called Dwarrowdelf and it will be awesome. I have worked for 6 months on it and i hope i'll finish it before the first Hobbit movie. The map is made in the style of the first BFME mission : Moria only that it's much much bigger. You will start with the fellowship from Rivendell amd finish in Lorien. What's beautiful about it is that you can chose one of the 3 ways to get there: Moria, Caradhras or The Gap of Rohan(through Isengard and into Fangorn). Riders of Rohan, the latest expansion is now available to pre-order on the LotrO page. In it you will see a new area to the game, a level cap increase to 85, new raids and dungeons and skirmishes and the most hotly anticipated feature of the game: mounted combat!

Lord of the Rings Online is now on STEAM! For those of you that use it, I'm sure you'll welcome this addition but also it makes sure that there's always an offer on, or at least some of the time.
For its release they have added an offer of £10.99 for a bonus starter pack which gives you a mount, 3 bonus quest packs, a 25% XP boost token and a 1,000 Turbine Points - it all seems well worth it to me!
Here is the release trailer for the new LotR game called 'Guardians of Middle Earth' it is from whaty I can see of the E3 video a Moba game like DotA, LoL and HoN so check out the release trailer below and the E3 trailer before checking out what the Game Info section state on the games own webpage.
Also note that this game is to be released on PS3 and Xbox only, nothing has been confirmed for PC yet, which is arguably strange as the Moba scene has yet to take off in console gaming, but perhaps the developers have spotted a gap in the market and good luck to them!

My name is Larry Longstreth and along with Lord of the Rings producer Mark Ordesky, I created an animated series called "Four Tanks and a Healer" that takes place INSIDE an MMORPG. Think WoW meets Family Guy. Anyway, we put the two pilot episodes online and the results were AWESOME. Now, we're trying to use Kickstarter to get it made into a full season. I seriously think you guys will love it. Please help us spread the word. The one thing we're missing is the power to get it out there across the internet where gamers will see it. Once enough of them do, we're confident it will take off!

I watched this a few weeks ago and I have to say to Larry and Mark did a stand up job. Any one who has played a fantasy mmo like WoW or in my case LoTRO can relate to this in more ways than 1.
Larry I speak for all here at GameFront when I say good luck making this go further. This is one of those projects that we would love to see goto a full weekly series along the lines of Red Vs Blue.

Sapience from Turbine has released a rough sketch as it were of the this years festivals in Lotro. This also includes the first mention of a new festival called Farmers Faire.

Turbine have announced their new update, Update 6: Shores of the Great River, this will get you even closer to Isengard following the river Anduin, explore new areas and do new quests as well as more updates to game including being able to bring your skirmish soldier into the PvE world to help you with quests!

Ok so we have a Kinship on the Evernight server and all are welcome from here. There are a few familiar faces in there already including n0e, S.T.A.L.K.E.R., MrFancyPants, Ensign Rhiles, Digz, Giz and me. The game is free to play and now so is the PvP side.
So if you want to join us then start a character on Evernight and let us know the name so we can send you ainvite.
This weekend we are going to be playing some group PvP and hopefully a few group skirmishes and maybe a raid or 2 so what are you waiting for ? we can help you level up and get your crafting done so get the game now and if you have it already start a character on Evernight.

The servers will be down for around 5 hours today to carry out some maintenance and an update too. It'll be down from 6am-11am for Eastern Time, which translates to around roughly 11am-4pm GMT.

Codemasters has announced that it has been hacked and personal data and information may have well been stolen, it has taken the websites that have been affected offline and they will now re-direct to its Facebook page.
Please make sure that you change your Codemasters CoG password even though you have migrated, your personal details are still on there so change your password just to make sure. And of course many players may have used the same password for our Turbine accounts that we used for our Codemasters accounts after the LotrO server migration so please make sure you change your Turbine passwords too!

The firm described the data theft as "significant" saying names, addresses, phone numbers and dates of birth were all taken on 3 June.
However, it said that payment details were not compromised.

Despite Codemasters saying payment details has not been stolen, it's always better to be safe than sorry.
