World In Conflict (BETA) - File Description  


Description:
Since this is my first map I have ever published i hope that you will be lenient judging my work which i have to say is a bit careless .

It has been my enjoyment and i believe anyone's else in BFME2 community to experience epic sieges in the lord of the rings theme . Unfortunately few maps were created depending on that , so i decided to make the number a bit bigger .

The main theme of the map is quite simple . A simple gondorian city gets sieged by the dark lord's forces which struggle to capture more and more of Gondor lands . Your task is to defend the city and drive back the enemy of these lands once and for all .

Unfortunately the map is E X T R E M E L Y laggy and i recommend lowering the Video Settings no matter what kind of GPU-CPU-RAM you got (i have a GTX280 and still stuck sometimes).

EXCLAIMER .

Even though the map is in BETA version , i wish that nobody will think of re-uploading the map in this or in any other site no matter what .

CREDITS

All credits go to me for the construction of the map however the camera functionalities have to be credited to RJ-ROTWK mod .

Basic Instructions :



1] Installation :

A) Open the .rar file.
B) Paste the World In Conflict file in : X:UsersUserappdataRoamingMy The Lord of the Rings, The Rise of the Witch-king FilesMaps

Or type “appdata” in the search tool and continue as above .


|If you want to make the procedure manually (instead of searching for appdata) please consider enabling hidden files.|


2] How to play:
EXCLAIMER:
The map is made with the normal worldbuilder but it is intended to be played with the RJ.ROTWK 1.06 mod. I have not tested it in the normal game however I intend to as this is only the BETA version. Say RJ mod a thanks for the outstanding camera functions!!!
MOST LIKELY YOU WILL BE ABLE TO PLAY THE MAP WITHOUT PROBLEMS.

A) You are on the upper-right side and your ally on the upper-left. Be both Men (or Gondor if you have RJ mod installed).On the other side, use Brutal Mordor.

B) Your task is to defend the city . Forget the river for now. Then attack their side and destroy the big tower. You will understand what I mean when you reach there.

3] Credits:

Under any circumstances you are allowed to re-upload the map. However you can edit for personal use ONLY.

All the credits for the camera functions go to RJ.ROTWK mod |http://rjrotwk.the3rdage.net/|.
This and nothing else .

4]Have fun playing the map.

Posts: 280 		lol i dont know why, but after seeing this map i just diceded that i will install rise of the witch-king again stick out tongue and ofcourse i will place more maps on this site then just 1 lol

Posts: 1090 		Try and make the requirements a bit less. I notice it is quite laggy, so try making the map a bit more playable with higher settings as people love to play in higher settings.

Posts: 3 		maybe but i will have to reduce the size of the upcoming army and it is already difficult ,according to my opinion, for them to siege the city successfuly . I don't know what i will do though
